• beauty is not objective
• spot systems, break them apart, flip the script
• turn feelings into art: speak your love or your hate loud enough for people to see themselves in it
• represent your roots, your feelings, your fears, your desires
• master the art of irony, attention, confusion
• call out capitalism—and beat it at its own game
• media attention is the real currency. whoever owns the spotlight, wins
• tap into what everyone knows—pop culture, clichés, shared imagination
• use strategic scarcity—limited drops that trigger full-on FOMO
• make stuff people can wear, design, or join in on (involve the crowd)
• wake up your inner child—play, wonder, lightheartedness, the real magic
• build things that throw people off—shift their point of view
• create what feels good—spread joy
• be your own muse
• consider protecting your IP when it matters
• art should be bold, not balanced: playing it safe is creative death
• be prolific, prolific, prolific.
